The Association
The Zona Mesa y López Business Association was legally set up on January 23, 1995. Since then, we have worked towards the improvement and continuous growth of the zone to the point that we have become one of the most representative associations of the Canary Islands’ corporate network, with more than 150 members who have put their trust in us.
“There is strength in numbers and together we are in a stronger position to compete in the business world”.
Why become a member?

“Today, without any doubt, joining forces is vital in order to improve and be successful.”

Hello
“There is strength in numbers” – this was our motto when, 25 years ago now, a group of business owners from the Mesa and López commercial zone, laid the foundations of this Association, which I now preside over with great fondness and respect. Despite the different crises which have arisen, this commercial zone has always been, is and always will be the main economic driving force and a point of reference in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and thanks to all the members we are the corporate voice for dealings with public administration. We want to improve and grow, and to do so we invite you to contribute your ideas and to be a part of this project. One of our objectives has always been to invigorate the zone with important events which will draw the general public, in order for Mesa y López to feel constantly alive.
In exceptional circumstances such as those which have arisen in 2020, the year when we turned 25 years old, we have brought our image up to date, boosting the platform for social communication, and we have been through a change in actual urban development: pedestrianised areas have increased, making our clients’ experience more enjoyable, and bringing greater visibility to commercial brands on a level worthy of major cities. From now on, we shall continue demonstrating our vocation as a collective group. This is our invitation to you to discover this.
